    • ]]>     Die ganze Jailbreak Geschichte hatte sich bisher in einer rechtlichen Grauzone befunden. Niemand wusste genau, ob es z.B. erlaubt ist ein jailbreak-service anzubieten. Apple schiebt jetzt den Riegel vor.

    Wenn man sich als Programmierer für das iPhone SDK registriert, muss man ein Lizenz-Abkommen bestätigen, welches zum 1 April geändert wurde. Wenn man der Vereinbarung zustimmt, wird folgendes nicht erlaubt:

    • Jailbreaking
    • Hilfe beim Jailbreaking
    • Entwicklung und Verteilung von Jailbreak Apps

    Der Wortlaut der Vereinbarung ist folgender:

    You will not, through use of the Apple Software, services or otherwise, create any Application or other program that would disable, hack or otherwise interfere with the Security Solution, or any security, digital signing, digital rights management, verification or authentication mechanisms implemented in or by the iPhone operating system software, iPod touch operating system software, this Apple Software, any services or other Apple software or technology, or enable others to do so; and

    Also liebe Coder – kein Jailbreak mehr, sonst ist u.U. ein RL Jailbreak nötig!
